I've had the same Defender for 22 years now and it still finds way to challenge me! Especially when tackling what appear to be simple jobs like thisone.
I have had my 200 tdi 110 for 20 years and when new I fitted a "secret" switch on the cable to the solenoid and use a substantial chain and padlock from the clutch pedal to the steering wheel.I have had to replace window glass twice but they have not been able to start it. i accept that it can be done but not quickly
110 200tdi Awaiting arrival of Richards chassis, I am anticipating some repair is required to bulkhead but not major as only moderate rust but will not know until stripped in a couple of months.Can anyone recommend suitable place to get this done locally as I am not confident to tackle welding in areas that will show
