Zeus did not reply to my emails. The rings (genuine also from P) went in without problems or bends also because we splitted the calipers
-
Finally went for the Paddock ones mainly because of cheap transport. Finishing is very good and they seem to be ss 316.

I made a short WWI roadbook for our club that stays close to the Belgian coast. About 80km or so

Just filled in the survey and as foreigner I think there is still space in summer for a good 4x4 show but:
- not run by a magazine or a outside company
- run by traders itself
- only 4x4 related stands, no flowers or sweets or other carp just to fill the spaces
- autojumble: yes please
- 2 days if possible with a good camping and toilets
Two years ago we went with about 20 cars from Belgian LR club to Eastnor Castle show run by Mark W (he organizes also Newbury Sortout), it was relatively small show but with lots of potential.
What I miss a bit is evening atmosphere: people still talk about the bbq Belgian D&G organised some years ago in Billing

Just bought a second hand brand new JAZ fuel cell for my 90 TD5. 32 gallons or I think about 100 liters
I want to pump over diesel from this tank to the standard TD5 tank using the metal filler neck NTC2676 and weld/tig an extra tube to the neck.
Questions:
1. Anyone here who has experience with JAZ cells? If yes, where did you placed them?
2. The NTC2676 is intended for tanks under the seat ie not TD5 but can I still use one?
3. What size of tube do I need to get some flow?
-
Time to rebuild the calipers of my 90 TD5 but after searching the forum and ebay for s/s pistons founds some suppliers:
- Zeus
- Autoparts
- Paddock (cheap transport to Belgium)
Is there difference in the quality of the pistons or are they all the same?
-
Thanks a lot, as tomorrow there is a small second hand market over here in Belgium, I know for which parts I have to look now!

It't only 2 years that I am working on the car so another weekend I'll easily survive.
btw I made an excel file with all relations between items so depending on the color of the wire you can find back easily the use of it
-
Is there an electric library for this type as for td5 where you can find back each connector and its use?
-
My project (Series3 with 200td on shortened RRC chassis) is advancing and now started with the electricity.
Got a loom from a friend but I am wondering what kind of car it came off as I have some problems identifying connectors and colors (bit color blind)
Loom has glass fuses so I guess it comes from a 2.5 NAD or so but not sure
Here some pictures
An can in the engine room two connectors fit on one larger connector that goes through the bulkhead?
Thanks for any help

I have 2 Ifor trailers, the older one having the same problem even after being a month unused and the 1 kg sledge hammer works perfect. The newer model has the newer bearings and never has this problem

We are going for the 7th time to Romania to do some off-roading with help of a very experienced local guide (organiser of the TAT). We have 6 cars for the moment, one more than last year but there are still 2 places free.
The current participants have all 2 lockers, mechanical winches and tyres used are style Fedima/Simex/Ziarelli size 235-85/16. BF Mud is not enough
You need space to carry at least your own tents and food for 2 or 3 days. GPS (Garmin or pc based Oziexplorer) is almost a must for navigation stages
If you need more info, send me a pm

I can't find the reference number of the washers that go on the banjo bolt for the hose that comes from the reservoir and goes to the pump
On http://www.allbrit.de/UNI.cfm?PAGE=747976&SPRACHE=EN its the bolt at the rear of the pump

No problems with the 2 rears and one front to adjust but the last one does not click in the adjust position. I feel that it goes down abit but when turning clockwise nothing happens. is there a trick? Put them under pressure or?

I might take it to Newbury
I have a new normal motor for it as well as a 12v electric valve block (but don't know where) and go to Newbury

I mailed the guy (no family, no relation or whatever) and I quote:
its made from solid 38mm bright bar not tube and the ball joint is a trackrod end from one of the most popular 44 ton gross HGV's that drive our roads every day

Why not ask Gordon (the designer) to profile his opinion or is that too easy?
-
I've had the a-frame in hand and to be honest that looked pretty good

Found their card:

I looked at their rear A-frame solution and had a talk with the designer. Got his card if you need his details

Same setup here on my 90 since 8 years and never had problems. The only disadvantage is you never know if the truetrack really works

for home installations this works as you have only a single wire, in a car with multi-wire this could be problematic
