  1. I would be causious with OME data. I just got an emial from OME´s president and they acknowlege their data is a "bit too old". All this because their advertized lift is cr#p. And I do not know if red90´s results are from experimental data or theory...

  2. I just fitted OME springs on my 110" Puma. The rear OME755 did not reach the so claimed 2" lift as stated om OME spring chart (actually 55mm). So I asked the local dealer: "we are sorry you are not happy but that the setup for your rig". ARB from USA : "you can claim your money back or go to OME754 (Those are for 1100 lbs constant weight)". Stiff like hell.

ARB do not acknowledge their tech-info-add is carp. So I proposed them to pay the cost of 1" spring spacer and labour (about GBP65). Never heard from them again.

For me ARB customer service is lousy. I´ll stay away from those chaps. Should I shout to Australia?

  3. I guys

I found the rear anti roll bar totally wrong fitted: ARB pushing the bushes (on the chassis) backwards and the small arms upside down on the rear axle. I fixed it, but after doing some offroad, the whole thing came again to this weird position. Any clues?

    thanks

  4. Hi all,

Have a 110 TD5 with a winch and heavy duty bumper fitted

Have a 2 inch lift all round with Britpart heavy duty springs, but I get the impression these have started to lose there lift, shall we say.

Can anyone suggest a set of good springs that will give about 2-3 inch lift on a td5 110 for the front and rear with all the weight of a fully laden 110? (roof rack, tools etc) Dont mind paying for quality as long as it doesnt start to feel low at the front again! :)

    Thanks

    Grant

I just fitted on my 110" Puma, OME751+LLAMA 4x4 3/4" coil spacer in front and 755 on the back. Also adjustable long travel Rancho shoxs. At the end I got 2.5" lift. Very good setup.

  5. Hello Geo,

I understood Ramsey's and Warn wicnhes (not Tabor) are assembled in the US. Not sure about where the parts are actually built.

Do you have a winch installed? If so, which brand?

    Cheers,

    Santiago

    Hi Geo.

That is probably true. Not yet a winch, these days Im setting up a rear ARB diff, +2" Ome springs and Rancho shoxs, double front cardon, plus other bits.

Winch choices are: Warn, Ramsey, Ironman, T-max, Tabor and Prowinch.

The first four cost about US$1500 the piece!
