  1. How did the seller manage to cause this damage? 3000 euro is pretty good for mainland Europe for a project like that, as long as the chassis is still straight that is.

  4. Hi All, If this is already on the forum or the wrong section, my apologies. I will be starting a new project soon and am now searching for a land rover breaker in the South of the UK preferable in Kent or the greater London area, mainly to source the larger body parts and axles for my project. These parts are hard to come by in the Netherlands. I know Ebay is a good source for parts but if I travel to pick up parts I like to do one stop shopping. Thanks for the help!
  5. Changing out the cylinder is very simple 2 bolts and a pipe. A method I have used in the past to bleed/ fill the system is filling it from the slave cylinder. I used a large syringe 250cc and a short piece of tubing i use for bleeding the brakes. Just make sure al the air is out of the syringe before you start pressing it in. Don't forget to remove the lid of the master cylinder so the air can escape and if necesary you can top up the reservoir. Hope this helps

    Thank you all for the welcomes. @FZ You are right no hill climbing over here (to my knowledge) and not much off-roading either, there are some locations but these are very small. Mostly I go to the south of Belgium to off-road in the woods over there, there are a lot of trails used to transport foresting equipment in and wood out. You are aloud to drive on them but can be chalenging, after a bit of rain these trails are completly destroyed by the tractors used to transport the chopped trees out, leaving deep trenches where the trail was.

    Hello All, Just want to say hi. I am from the Netherlands and have an ex mod series 3 109 RHD. It was fitted with a 2 1/4L petrol but now running a 2.5L petrol Defender engine. Have done a lot of work on the Landy but still have a wishlist of work that still needs to be carried out. I must say I am impressed by the amount and quality of the technical subjects on this forum and will most likely use this as a guidance for my next projects.   9. Hi, I have had the same with my S3 2.5L petrol, it was the coil giving problems when warm. If you have a spare coil I would test if that solves your problem.
