  1. I have just acquired a new take off headlining for my 110 truck cab and noticed it has an opening just behind the interior lamp. It is currently covered over by the headlining material but I'm wondering what is meant to fit in here.
  2. I just applied dynamat extreme to my bulkhead behind the dash. I highly reccomend it for quieting things down.
  3. Thanks very much Western. Can you tell me where the vin # break is between the lt77 and the 380?
  4. Thanks guys. I'll contact Wright to see if I can purchase just the seatbox cover.
  5. I have an early 110 base model that came with no interior trim except visors. I have added a headlining, td5 bulkhead matting , and 200tdi tunnel cover. Now I'm onto the seatbox. I've seen carpet and a very thin vinyl material with a super thin foam backing. The vinyl thing looks like it would have little or no sound deadening qualities. Is there anything available for an lt77 seatbox that will deaden sound? I'm aware of the Wright Offroad kits, but as I have everything else covered I really just need the seatbox bit. The genuine td5 stuff for the r380 box is great and I am wondering if there is anything similar for the lt.Mine is lhd if anyone has any part numbers handy.
  6. Does anyone make a drop in storage box for the spare wheel well areas on a 110 regular? My pickup has a blanked off opening on each fender well, and as I keep the spare on the tailgate, I'd like to utilise this space. Just wondering if there is an off the shelf solution or if I need to custom build something. Cheers!
  7. An '84 is importable into the US now, so I think you would see your greatest gain by selling whole.
  8. I installed a 1.2 tcase behind a 200tdi in my 110 pickup. It's an '83 and has the original lt77 which I believe has a slightly lower 5th gear ratio that the later lt77s. I couldn't be happier, the truck is very comfortable at 65 mph. First gear in high box is a bit tall, but completely managable. I'm on 255/85s (33").
  9. Glad you got her lined up Dave. Looking forward to seeing that 3 hundy throw mud at the Mid Atlantic Rally!
  10. I have a 300tdi turbo on my disco 200tdi. I did this because my truck is LHD and the 200 turbo fouled the steering. Front down pipe takes a bit of work and longer manifold studs are needed.Runs like a top.
  11. Hello all, I have a 110 regular pickup with a window fitted 3/4 canvas. I have just purchased a new pvc unit which I would like to convert to a window fixing arrangement somehow (the dog really likes to be able to blow hot air into the cab). I'm thinking I'll need to un-stitch the front panel, modify it, and re-stitch it. Should I retain my bottom drain channel (behind the cab) or use the new style bulkhead fitted bit? Also, how do these new pvc units attach along the sides? My old canvas utilizes the body cleats, but I think the new one do not? Anyone willing to post up a couple of pics of the new style setup? Thanks for any advise you guys may have.
  12. Western, my glow plug warning lamp goes out about 3 seconds before I hear the relay time out as well. Haven't worked on the parking brake lamp / TC lamp issue yet.
  13. Western, that makes sense. I'll have a look. Thank you.
  14. Well I added a handbrake switch and wired it to the warning lamp. It works, but the TC (traction control) lamp comes on as well. I can't seem to figure out how to make the handbrake warning lamp function without the tc wire connected to it. Any tips?
  15. Danster, Is the plastic cup you refered to FRC5859 "seat-ball end"? This looks like a plastic bushing that the ball at the bottom of the lever rides in. I'm thinking this could cause my problem if it's knackered.
  16. Thanks Western, any chance you have a schematic on that?
  17. Thanks Matt. Already checked that nut and it was good and tight.
  18. My lt77 shifter rattles in 5th gear. If I put a finger on it and apply slight pressure to the side all is quite again. Is there an adjustment I can make or is there possibly a spring or something that has died? It's an early LT77, 1983 vintage.
  19. A big thanks to all who have contributed to this thread! I have finally installed mine, complete with the warning lamp panel and am very pleased with the results. As many have said here, it is well worth doing. Cheers.
  20. Is this bulb available or do I need a new switch if I want it to work? It is a (very) small twist lock bulb that locks into the bottom of the switch. If available separately, anyone have a part #?
  21. I have done this on my 200tdi. The outlets on my td5 heater exit the top and are oriented straight toward the front of the truck. I used very late 300tdi ROW hoses on my LHD truck and it works great. As mentioned above, you need to change the plug. I also opened up the hole in the bulkhead to match the heater outlet. 40% +/- increase in area = more flow.
  22. Has anyone tried using the green DISCO 200tdi sender with the td5 guage on the 200?
  23. James, Any chance you might post up some pics of yours?
  24. Western, you and I make two, perhaps if there is more interest here we could talk them into making up a batch.
