DininduInduwara
I have a Defender 110 300TDI with a Puma dash conversion. I need to get the rev-counter, temperature gauge and fuel gauge to work. The speedometer works btw. I understand that the rev counter can be made to work by getting a signal from the W terminal in the alternator, but I am unsure if that will work with a Puma gauge cluster, I don't wanna risk ruining the gauges. So how can I get these gauges to work?

Ex Member
There is a company in the US that is building (or possibly still in development) a conversion box. It is on Defendersource, but they are down at the moment.
wailofthesnail
Going through this at the moment, did you make any progress?
Anderzander
I've never seen one on the net up and running. The conversions seem to either stall because of the gear lever clash or the instruments, which talk to the puma ECU through CAN I believe? Heres a finished one that used Td5 guages and a Disc3 cubby/gear set up: https://www.landyzone.co.uk/land-rover/defender-tdci-bulkhead-on-a-300-tdi.269654/
