Pete Attryde
an early 300TDi defender downpipe (ESR2297) is a direct replacement for the cat downpipe (ESR3495) on my 1996 300 TDi Discovery. Just want to get clarification as the defender downpipe is about half the price of the non-cat discovery one (ESR2740). Pete.
western
if the overall length & attachments are the same, then it'll fit.
freeagent
as far as i know, yes... well, i hope so as i've got a '96 discovery and a defender 300tdi downpipe in the shed waiting to be fitted... only downside is lack of flexi joint... but if it doesn't matter on the defender.... western
IIRC the flexy section is only there to reduce noise/vibration from the cabin.
