neil110
If I replace my existing tin head gaskets with composite gaskets, how much difference will that make to my compression ratio, please?
FridgeFreezer
I'll tell you now: This will descend into a massive argument very shortly. But I did it (on a 4.6 with 3.9 heads) and it made no appreciable difference to the vehicle. You can calculate the actual difference in CR if you're bothered, there's a thread about all this somewhere (possibly the technical archive). In reality - fit the better composite gaskets, leave out the outer (deleted) row of head bolts, and don't worry.
