Sheepsteeth
Good Morning Folks, I need to replace some very corroded coil springs on my 95 defender. the current performance feels nice (for a defender) so I didnt want to fit HD springs. However, I have fitted a winch bumper and am soon to fit a winch. Do i need to consider heavier duty springs to counteract the extra weight sitting at the front of the car or will the standard duty springs cope OK? western
90 rear heavy duty will fit the front.
landroversforever
You may find its OK with the extra weight. Is it a 90 or a 110?
Sheepsteeth
That is a good question! Apologies. Its a 90.
landroversforever
I had a FirstFour bumper and an EP9 on the front of my 90, with 110 front springs and that rode pretty well. They were the Yellow/white striped ones.
BogMonster
I have 90 rears on the front of my 110 with a winch, and a 1.5" lift on the back via spacer blocks. It sits perfectly - and the real springs are both handed and will last longer than most of the aftermarket ones some of which go flat pretty quickly.
