simonb
Mo one seems to manufatcure LWB S1 chassis' anymore. Is this the case or have I just ben unlucky with my Google-ing so far? Richards only do series 2 onwards but in one of the mags a while back a guy had a new galv chassis for a series 1, 107", pretty sure it was made by Marsland... hedley
sorry to be gloomy but - i have been looking for a series 1, 107" pick up chassis for a while now, and no one seems interested in making them anymore. ive tried marslands, richard chassis, and several others, and not even designa-chassis want to know... they just say they dont make one for that model... if there were several people all wanting the same chassis, the companies might be a little more interested tho... Les Henson
Series One club would be best bet to find this out Deano. All the series one companies advertise in the bi-monthly mag. http://www.lrsoc.demon.co.uk Maybe the Register could help a well http://www.landrover-register1948-53.org.uk Les. DEANO3528
Thanks for the replies guys. Les, the guy in question joined the S1 club but has heard nothing back so he phoned them. They didn't seem that bothered about speaking to him which has put him off a bit tbh. He's a nice bloke, a very clever engineer and is now thinking he may have to make his own chassis! I'll pass the info on though, cheers
