Gilowatt
I'm stuck replacing the rear discs on my 2011 puma Defender with ABS. I've got the hub off and on the bench and am looking at the ABS ring which is stopping me get the old disc off. What do I do next please to get that ring off - I've loosened off the 10mm nuts on the back but nothing helps there. Gilowatt
Forgive me - so if I remove the 5 or 6 little nuts and whack the casting it should fall out, leaving the disc removal bolts visible?

That sort of thing, yes. You may need to do a bit more than that. Put the nuts loose on the studs and a small pry bar in the gap perhaps. But it will just be carp/crud keeping it in place. Snagger
You may need to chisel off any deep rust from inside the disc. Just be careful not to bash the ring with anything hard - use a wood or copper drift on that.
