Steve300
Hi everyone, I just recently bought a 1997 Defender. The side lights & indicators have been upgraded to LED’s. I’ve noticed that when I indicate right, the hazards come on! There’s no issue with the left. Any suggestions why this is? Thanks!
Bowie69
Punch the hazard switch a few times, quite possible just some contact issues within it.
Tim2809
Check wing repeaters are both working and are standard bulbs. its to do with the dash bulb wiring and as led draw little current it can pass power through the dash bulb. removal of the dash bulb will confirm
MichaelE
As Tim said above. There's an LED with earth wire replacement on ebay from boltonbits for the dash flasher that's supposed to solve it. I got one but it didn't fix my problem. I had to remove the led side repeaters and refit standard bulbs. That fixed it.
