Susie W
“Fluttering” which feels like driving over cobblestones with the handbrake applied! Only happens spasmodically, three mechanics have failed to diagnose and an automotive electrician has updated the computer. Love my car and this surely cannot be unique. Can anyone help please? FridgeFreezer
Are you saying that if you drive it with the handbrake on, it feels funny? I'd suggest checking the rear brake shoes & not driving with the handbrake on
garrycol
You need to tell us what sort of Freelander - a Freelander 1 or a Freelander 2 - completely different vehicles. If a Freelander 1 it could be anything but very possibly a failing viscous drive coupling - if so do not drive as it will cause major damage elsewhere in the drive train.
