DC_
After returning from camp I could smell diesel in the engine bay. Noticed the fuel pump was wet in certain parts and diesel slightly on the engine mount arm below it. Cleaned it off and ran the engine and watched. Hopefully you can see the pictures where I “think” it’s weeping from. I can’t see anything above that’s running downward. Got a feeling this is bad news? I’ve changed O rings in the past to sort leaks.

Phill S
Don't know how to fix, but I have a good one from a low mileage 1987 ex-army model if any interest...
DC_
Thanks Phil, I’ll see what the outcome of this problem reveals. Worst case scenario I’ll give you a shout
Junglie
I've got an overhaul kit - genuine LR - for my '85 NAD if you need it.
DC_
Thanks Junglie, I was looking to find out from anyone if maybe the bolt in the picture can be removed and maybe has a O Ring or copper sealing washer that I might be able to replace. 🤔
Junglie
Looks like there's a fibre washer that goes behind it. At least I can't see where else it may go...

Junglie
Just realised I was having a real blonde moment. Sorry. I have a repair kit for a lift pump, not an injector pump. I really need to lay off the crack pipe before reading forums...
DC_
A certain “Mike” in Canada replied to my query on YouTube. Seems there are copper washers on the HP Banjo bolt. Another job to get on with after the long weekend trip away. 😎👍 Hope this helps others too.
Paddy
Great. One to remember (just in case) for my 91 NAD. Let us know if it's as simple as it seems
