Gazzar
What's good? Bad? Value? I'll be working on a Salisbury axle or three. £150 buys a hydraulic set of all sorts. Unbranded.
hurbie
if i had to do a salisbury again , i would buy a "clamshell" bearing puller . with a normal puller it is a real pain to get the bearings off , in the end i had to make a adapter plate to use with a "normal" puller because they were that tight . Gazzar
Those look ideal. I've never liked the abuse approach to removing bearings. I'll buy a set of these, I think.

Must admit I also quite like the look of them, I have various pullers and some that slide behind narrow gaps, but nothing like them A future lathe project me thinks Regards Stephen
Gazzar
I was thinking that. But I think I'll buy them. Not good enough on the lathe, by a long shot!
