Thermostat sensor connector

Recommended Posts

Hi Folks,

Defender 110 300 Tdi

The connector that goes onto the thermostat sensor at the RHS of the cylinder head (not the one on the top) - a single wire.

Anybody know where to source a connector? Got a new loom and the connector is too big for it.

Thanks,

Simon...

The proper connector YPC10132 is not something that I've ever seen anywhere else -

The connecting post on the sensor is shown as a 4mm terminal.

Retroanaconda used one of the pre-insulated female bullets on his TD5 instrument pack conversion -

Personally, I'd use one like this -

@PaulMc Thanks again for the information. New bullet connectors arrived - ended up getting ones which are 3.9mm. Managed to scavenge the older connector plastic housing which fitted nicely and finished off with some heat shrink wrap.
