Virgin 4x4
I'm not having any problems with my K series 1.8 except that it's a touch underpowered. I'm looking for a good solid alternative - even from another manufacturer - with a lot more power. Does anyone know of any alternative engines which will fit? Blippie
Probably easier and cheaper to have the current engine "fiddled" with rather than transplanting. JE have fun with Freelanders and I know loads of people have chipped diesels. Cheers Blippie

With so much comonality between Freelander/Rover/Honda it ought to be quite fun ... but knowing him, he'll get confused and he'll end up trying to drive a rusty Rover 1.8 car with a blown head gasket... ... and there'll be a good but engineless Freelander and a turbo engine in his back garden for the next ten years ... Cheers Blippie
