JimAttrill Posted February 10, 2007 Share Posted February 10, 2007 The flexy thingy is there to cut down on vibration only. You should be fine with the solid pipe. Pete Attryde Posted February 11, 2007 Share Posted February 11, 2007 I guess if your exhaust was rigidly mounted to the rest of the car the engine vibration would probably break something however the exhaust system is (or should be) rubber mounted so the vibration will just shake the whole thing.
