brake master bias

Recommended Posts

i'm looking at different brake master cylinders for defenders, i think some are 50/50 biased and some are 60/40 biased to the front, i've found some part numbers, NRC8690 and NRC9529 but i cant tell which bias they are, anyone help?

TIA

Mark.

just to bump this to the top and maybe open it up for discussion a bit more. these were both fitted to early defenders, would the 60/40 split master be more likely to fit a short wheel base vehicle or long? :unsure:

NRC8690 is for 110's

NRC9529 is for 90's

EPC doesn't tell if these have a braking bias as you have noted above :D

i dont want to introduce a separate bias, i just want to change the master from wot i've got (50/50) to a 60/40 one

Can't you just hammer the rear pipe a bit to stop as much oil going through it?

or tie a knot in it?

hat.....coat.....running down the road!! :ph34r::ph34r::ph34r:
