reversing lights (switch)

Hi all

can someone please tell me were to find the switch, unless i hold the gear lever over to the right when reversing, the lights dont come on.

so how do i adjust the switch..

on the gearbox there is a screw in switch with 2 spade connectors

try adjusting it but it will probably need a new switch, they do break

adjust it too far in and the vehicle will jump out of reverse with possible gear damage

i had the same prob this was on an r380 box replaced switch not easy to get to but once replaced it works ok there isnt any adjustment on this like the lt77box chris

think mines the R380 box 96 300 tdi, ill have a look and see if i can find the switch..

mine was a 96 300tdi i mananaged to disconnect the wiring plug and using a ring spanner to undo switch after passing wires through spanner the switch was about 8 quid from rst at mersea island essex

rst is that a land Rover shop, not herd of it before im near Lakeside
