Weird Linkage on my LT95

Shackleton

Recommended Posts

On the N/S of my LT95 there's a cylindrical steel bar (roughly 1/2 or 3/4" diameter) coming through the casing, kinda midways along the box. It's got a hole cross drilled in it. It looks as though it could be turned if you gripped it.

Anyone know what it is?

I'm thought initially it might have been to do with mounting the hand brake on a LH drive RR but the why does it go into the casing...

On the other side has it got the High Low Lever ?

If so its the shaft for the HL Lever, and is either RHD or LHD but the shaft does both

Nige

isnt it the bar for moving the lever to the other side i.e for a left hooker
