THE COUNTY OF CARMARTHENSHIRE (BY WAY AT CILYCWM)

(PROHIBITION OF DRIVING) ORDER 2007

NOTICE is hereby given that the Carmarthenshire County Council propose to make an Order under Sections 1(1) and (2), 2(1) to (3) and 3(2) of the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984.

The effect of this Order will be to prohibit any vehicle from proceeding in that length of the By Way at Cilycwm as specified in the Schedule to this Order.

Full details of this proposal are contained in the draft Order which, together with a map showing the length of the By Way affected and a statement of the Council's reasons for proposing to make the Order, may be inspected at the offices of Carmarthenshire County Council at County Hall, Carmarthen, and at the Public Library at Llandovery during normal office hours

If you wish to object to the proposed Order you should send the grounds for your objection in writing to Lyn Thomas, Head of Administration and Law by the 5th day of October 2007.

The length of By Way from its junction with the Class III Road near Cwm Fran Fawr Farm to a point just west of Penstacan Farm for a distance of approximately 3300 metres

Thats the one....

But a few hours with spades and the drop off could be made safe (clear a bit of a landslide away)

And the disputed bit at the end..... just turn around and go back, then you have had the pleasure of driving a great lane in both directions.

When its gone its gone forever.
