jeremy996
"On Wednesday 19th December the Christmas Double Issue of Autocar magazine hits the newsstands. BogMonster
Shame they didn't come back here to test them, we had a laugh testing the Freelander
jeremy996
I've read the article, p42 - p47, no real surprises and no significant substance either. "The Defender's unchanging nature gives it an impeachable authenticity; it has defied fashion for so long that it's become fashionable again. On roads it is ridiculously compromised but when the asphalt runs out it's still supreme." They thought the Wrangler Unlimited was the better on road/off road compromise and the Hummer too expensive and too thirsty. One to read in WH Smiths or Tescos. western
On roads it is ridiculously compromised mines not compromised on road, it'll quite happily eat up the miles, just drive it like a Truck, cos that's what it is -- as are all the other LR models, they are not cars.
