Yep, breakfast did go down well,, and 8.50 last time, worked out spot on, and makes the venue easier to find, if you have not been before, was it the first time, we did not have to wait for people ??? JST
was it the first time, we did not have to wait for people ??? correct, but Puggy is coming on the 17th and hes always late (although to be fair his timings ahve improved of late)! Bfast meet would prob give him an added incentive (PS i wonder if he has intergeek access where he is now.....)
Guest WALFY
I didn't realise it was serious enough to get sent down for. So Jim is doing porridge then. Will he be on day release on the 17 then to ease him back into society

TJ101
I may have convinced Jo that a good breakfast is the way to go!! Your place,, tomorrow Easy, you pass within spiting distance, M27 M5 coming south,, Roundabout left takes you towards the venue, if you look right, its straight in front of you !! Hope you all enjoyed it i have attached the some of the better pics (and less incriminating ones i took) if anyone has some good pictures suitable for my website and wouldn't mind bringing them along next sat that would be great or email them down. Guest WALFY
Just got back to Warminster. Cracking day out. Only a slight ding in the N/S wing. A bit of T cut and it'l be sorted. Good day out with good company.
pugwash
Been back a while- getting the dog clean has taken a good couple of hours! Thanks for a great day out today guys- haven't been round those bits of Bampton before and they were thorougly enjoyed. Did collec 3 fairly large battle scars, and lost even more bodywork so vehicle wise it wasn't a great day. Very happy with the vehicle though- it was only let down by my wish to try and avoid terminal body damage and my poor judgement- car was great though and it's nice to have a bit of luxury when you off road. Thanks To Tim and Jos for looking after my Nephew who had a great day, and said thank you to everyone on the way back home- he was a bit bashful by the end of the day sorry. Tim, hope you got the trayback home ok, just lucky you carry spares eh? For those who haven't been to one of James' DRDs then i heartily recommend them- they are invariably a good day out with a great crowd and some really good driving. Thanks for organising them James. Got some piccies which are linked below: (whole album can be found at DRD Bammpton 17th Feb 08 , i have loads more piccies although most are very similar to the ones below- if you want more shots of your truck at a particular spot then let me know)

TJ101
Yep, another good day,, No damage, bar for the Jim's barge, which for a standard vehicle, bar a lift and Mt's did well The hybrid performed faultlessly again,, shame the Rangie did not get that far,, Thanks Mark, David and James, for the watchful eye getting it back to base !! Great company as usual,, good to see Gary and Andy make the trip over from Wales !! Even though Gary's line down the wash out in Middle wood was a tad different !! 2 hours to wash the dog Jim !! good job he did not round in the mud !! you would still be their !! Guest WALFY
Tim No worries. Be carful though David was a bit smitten by the hybrid!!! He didn't have chance to get a spare set of keys cut so you are safe for the short term. Hopefully the Rangie is all sorted now and not to much damage was caused. tommer
Big thanks to everyone for making me and olly feel really welcome. top day out for two first-timers on the scene.m My off=roading experience before has been of a sort of similar leve, but uneducated and work related- never enjoyed it so much then! Thanks to James for organising the day- would llove to come to another with my truck maybe- and ollywas made up. Thanks also to those of you who had a seven year old co-driver, it really made his day. It has given me much more confidence in what my truck will do, and now i can get to several more elusive trees that i have had to pass by in the past( i have a sawmill and cant bear to see fallen trees left to rot- if you have any that are down the mill is mobile and cann take a 36" diameter log if anyone is interested!). Hopefully see you at another day.
