Godlykepower
Managed to convince SWMBO that she doesn't want me to take her to Prague for a few days! I HAVE convinced her that an off-roading expedition in Wales would be far better for her. However, I dont really know owt about Wales, only been once before....where would be best for us to go? I would ideally like to get a mix of walking in the mountains and some nice Greenlanes......with the emphasis more on the side of Greenlanes, of course!! Mo Murphy
Martin, this is a nice place to stay as a base. It's VERY popular with many laners. Mo
Paul Humphreys
If you like walking then I think you would be better stoping nearer to Mount Snowdon, North Wales. Lots of lanesas well!! Paul
Godlykepower
Thanks for that Mo....that looks really nice.....quite like the sound of that 102 mile 4x4 circuit taking in Strata Florida. Do they have camping facilities at all, do you know?? Martin
Bowie69
For walking, try Cnicht, and the Moelwyns, you can do all three starting with Moelwyn Mawr, then Moelwyn Back, and on to Cnicht -takes a good 6-7 hours, but a very good walk. Even got a slat built house up there, and a lake
GBMUD
quite like the sound of that 102 mile 4x4 circuit taking in Strata Florida. I do not know the route there these days but some of it may be on tracks who's legality is "questionable". Chris
Mo Murphy
Martin, The previous owners did camping but I'm not sure about the present ones. Easiest just to ring and ask, they are quite agreeable people. Mo
