Just run an 1/8 BSP tap down the brass fitting. It's a very close fit, then obtain an 1/8 BSP - 6mm air fitting, use some quality air tube (I used FESTO PUN-H) and then connect to an 1/8 BSP fitting on the compressor solenoid.

6mm tube and fittings are SO much easier to aquire than poxy 5mm stuff.

I have also not used the ARB solenoids and have instead used FESTO 12VDC items - Helluva lot cheaper than the ARB ones!!

Oh - you will also need the later style of brass fitting on the diff housing - the type that only uses an o-ring in compression.

I had thought about doing something similar but realised that 5mm fittings are special order where I am. And to go to 6mm would be a pain in the neck. Would then have to get a 5-6mm connector to go into the solonoid or change it. Either way the cost goes up. Will try and see if the pneumatics place I use do a 5mm push fit to go over the bulkhead fitting on the diff.

I didn't realise there were 2 versions. I assumed they were all the same. A small ferrule that sits inside the pipe with an olive over the pipe and then a nut to to hold it all down with. So whats the other way. Mine is like the fitting kit that Tony linked to.
