Starters....OE or britpart?

Sadly it now seems its not died, but the problem lies else where.....i have no idea where but i do appear to have 0v on the rollcage/chassis, and 12v through the block, gearbox and t-box......not good!

Looks like the starter on my TD5 has mysteriously died...is it worth getting an OE Denso one, or is a britpart just as good?

Just as bad would be nearer the mark - the genuine Td5 starters are rubbish! I doubt the Britpart ones would be much worse TBH

Worth checking the contacts in the solenoid first, details are in the tech archive.
