GBMUD
Make the bits you want and then look in the local Yellow pages for 'Anodising' or 'Metal finishing' and get the bits anodised. Chris

Just buy normal, cut it to size and then spray it... or indeed anodise it.
JimAttrill
Don't anodise them black as it loses colour very fast and goes a sort of dingy purple which looks horrible. Best is to polish them for the bling effect or get them powder coated black. Or just paint them black if that is too expensive. Or do none of the above, like me. freeagent
get a rattle can of etch primer, and a suitable rattle can of satin black. Job done.
Godlykepower
Rebel 4x4 do black chequer plate kits for interiors I seem to recall. I just did the back door, locks & wiper cover....just got the kit in natural silver and sprayed painted it with stone guard black paint. I put 2 coats on and it survived last weekend at Tixover with a loose Hi Lift Jack handle hitting it.....and not a single mark on it!
