90 Mellis
In the process of fitting a Disc Disco Axle into the back of my 90, just wondered if the Standard master cylinder can be used?! Did they change ont later vehicles?? Thanks Mike
western
It's different because the Discovery has 2 lines to the front brakes, shouldn't be a problem on a 90 though as the rears still has 1 line feeding them fluid.
Litch
Agree, standard master cylinder is just fine.
Scotian
Yup, my disco axle is using the original 90 break system Watch out though becuase the back brakes are alot better than they used to be now and somtimes the rear end brakes more than the front (which isnt meant to happen in general on cars) and you find back end comming round a bit. Thinking about fiiting a vented disk break axle (from a 110) to counter act this little problem.
