They test the emissions and we scored 0.87 brand new and cold. Fail would be over 3.0. As an amateur build you don't need a cat. Have to say the whole experience was really good. Go with the right attitude and something well built and they seem to be extremely helpful. Our brakes are so new they wouldn't lock on a drive by test but they were understanding of this. It was funny hearing them talk about the "muppets" and "weekend warriors" that turn up with some real rubbish having never read the manual. Tim Thanks Tim, that's good to hear. The impression I get is that actually the SVA experience isn't too bad if you go about it in the right way and build something well.
