Graham Thomson
Hi.... My 1989 110 CSW has a rather knackered and crappy dash. I dont mean the instrument panel, I mean the passenger side part of it, which is flat fronted, has no storage bins or pockets and, frankly, looks awful. How easy is to swap for a slightly later model.......... Supplementary.......anyone got a nice one they wish to part with.......... (Still waiting on a decision as to whether or not the ins. co. are going to write off the truck........)
Eightpot
They're easy enough to remove and replace - you'll usually get one on ebay, or worth waiting for the summer shows/sodbury etc. only a few nuts and screws holding it on and a bit of a fiddle with the loom and heater cables, dash top , instrument panel etc but nothing taxing. Good opportunity to check the bulkhead and give it a coat of hammerite while you're in there.
western
Easy Graham, it's only screws & bolts, just find a good one from a 90 or 110 & swap it over, the lower part is also the heater duct & is a coomon part on all Pre Td5 engined 90/110's or you can fit the complete Td5 dash. this will help
