currymonster
Hello. I'm thinking of buying a 2" lift kit. Has any body got any of the following kits or heard much about them. Devon 4x4- Basic competition Package- OME springs/shocks. Britpart Gaz suspension Kit- Gaz springs/shocks Britpart Cellular suspension kit-Cellular shocks Pro-comp Lift Kit or something like- Gwyn Lewis challenge suspension kit. Its going to be used on & off-road about 50/50. Thanks, Martin

Young bobtail Rhys
Gwyn lewis everytime. But his kit maybe a bit too extreme for what you are going to do, although it will still handle ok ish on the road.
JST
Martin, i think this almost same question was asked a couple of weeks back with various answers to each package etc. My money would go for the OME setup - run them on mine and love them. had procomps before they don't even come close in comparison to quality or ability for what i want. Pro comps sagged quite quickly as well. Pro Comp shocks are good value for money though.
Jurriaan
I like the Equipe extreme kit on my dad's RRC both on-road and off-road, no experience with other manufacturers though.
Mack
should any suspension lift consider the effect on both, spring and damping rate changes? Besides geometry mods affecting directly on OE bushes?
Brett
Another Vote for Gwyn. I've got the OME Springs & Shocks plus the Challenge kit. Mine now handles really well on the road, I think young Rhys is running the Challenge kit but not OME shocks & Springs. Go for the full package, you won't regret it. Gwyn's customer service is excellent as well.
