Calling all Westerns......

Hi Gents,

First off this one is on topic! :P

Ok the longest engine build in history is moving forward....

I took the oil spray jets off the bottom of the cylinders to let me hone the bores.

On replacement I went to replace the large and small washers for the spray bolt only to see the small washer is too small to fit.

On closer inspection I can see that the original washers are both copper "crush" washers.

I was a bit surprised not to have correct quality replacement parts as the bottom end set is a good quality Elring set from BeerMat.

So.........

Can anyone beat Ralph to the mark and find the part numbers for both of the crush washers? :D (Sorry Ralph its all take and no give)

Thanks in advance.

Cheers

Grant :)

Gents,

As a quick update I recieved the parts from the LR dealership (using the numbers listed above) and the washers are indeed crush washers.

Those in the bottom end gasket set I receeved are just plain copper washers.

On the down side I managed to shear one of the oil jet bolts whilst torquing up :o

New low value torque wrench and oil jet bolts ordered........

Cheers

G
