wkw90
Would the temp sender from a 2.5 TD fit a 200TDI Paul
western
No, fits in different position & IIRC is different size. 200Tdi needs PRC8593 & will work with your existing gauge. my 110 was a TD had a 200Tdi fitted nearly 14 years ago, temp gauge is still the TD item my 110 was built with, works fine. western
The same gauge for both is PRC7311 at least that what mine is not a conversion sender just the standard 200Tdi unit, that's all it's listed against in EPC
Mo Murphy
Ralph, is the Defender sender different to the Discovery/RR sender ? I don't think we had a PRC7311 did we Paul ? Mo
western
Yes, Disco 200Tdi uses PRC8001 or PRC9917 Green. RR 200Tdi uses AMR1712 Are you confused yet further on the temp gauge above it was upto chassis JA 916603 after it was AMR2070 From JA 916604 TO KA 928139 then AMR2631 From (V) KA 928140 To (V) WA 159806 this is the PRC7311 temp gauge. it has a large white block across nearly 3/4 of the gauge face with the last 1/4 being in red.
