Bandit
Help! So back right indicator not working 1.no fuses gone 2.bulb not gone 3.not a conection problem with the bulb holder(tired with another bulb) 4.doesnt work on hazzard warning lights either 5.the flasher unit clicks very fast on the right side only. Left side is normal speed- so front right and right side repeater are going really quick but nothing from back right Its a 1985 90 and it passed its MOT in the last month, and this has just happened. western
Can only be a duff bulb if it works at a fast speed, thats how the system operates when a bulb blows, does the suspect bulb work if connected across the battery terminals, if no then thats why the indicators don't work correctly. suggs
i agree, fast flashing is bulb related. have you tested with a multi meter at the bulb holder with indicator on to see if theres power there if you dont have a multi meter just take a bulb out the otherside that you no 100% works and swop them over, see what happens
mechysparkz
could be a break in the cable between switch and indicator lamp,

Bandit
On further inspection i realised the bulb had some corroded metal on it which was blocking the circuit. thanks alot guys really helpful! sam
