Hybrid_From_Hell
For a start change the coolant temperature sender (from passenger side of the inlet manifold), this is often a cause of what you describe - use a genuine one - there not expensive Then report back Nige
kellyv8
done that no joy ,its doing it now as soon as it gets up to operating temp if you rev it up to 3000 it just backs right off to nothing and goes up and down the revs

Hybrid_From_Hell
Yes it could be, but often the ECU is blamed for all sorts of aliments none of which are the ECUs fault Remove the bunch of earths on the back of the passegner cyl head clean with emery paper and redo, earths can cause all sorts of EFI problems You reaaly then need to use the diagnostic manaul I have posted in the tech archive, and work your way through methodically Then report back Nige
