90 Mellis
Just fitting a Disco Front Axle under my 1986 90, went to fit the Brake Calipers to find the Bolts are a different size!! I want to stick with the 90 calipers as they are 'single line'. The 90 Axle has Corse Thread Bolts with approx 11.95mm Shoulder (plain dia) where as the Disco Bolts are Fine Thread with 11mm Shoulder. Therefore the Disco Bolts are a slack fit in the 90 Caliper. Anyone come accross this before....is there a simple solution before I start making shims up?? Cheers Mike

western
Up to chassis number KA 930455 the bolt part number was AFU1031 & then from chassis number LA 930456, bolt part number was FTC3375, you can use the Disco caipers & just join the 2 pipes from the caliper with a T connector to convert to single line pipe. kkk2
Or you could drill out the holes to 12mm which is what we do and then fit you own calipers
