Mo Murphy Posted July 16, 2008 Share Posted July 16, 2008 Baz, If you are using the Disco transfer box as well, then you will find it has an electronic transducer just in front of the handbrake drum on the LH side (300 Discoverys have an electronic speedo). If you are going to continue using your existing mechanical speedo you will need to remove the transducer (one screw) and fit the mechanical cable in it's place. western Posted July 16, 2008 Share Posted July 16, 2008 same as the existing speedo, no need to change the existing speedo or if you have the electronic speedo you need the transducer for the transfer box. info on transducer part number & pics of it in this thread speedo cable goes to the speedo drive output on left side of transferbox.
