Tear it up Posted November 14, 2008 Share Posted November 14, 2008 I am planning on buying a complete bulkhead from someone but they live a 400 mile round trip away. Looking into couriers but they seem to want to know the ins and outs of a donkeys back leg. Guest diesel_jim Posted November 15, 2008 Share Posted November 15, 2008 Pretty heavy, i reckon more than 75kg, maybe about 100kg (when i moved my Td5 one in the garage, it felt like i was doing pull-ups, and i'm 102kg) Lots of sticky-out bits too (the bulkhead, not me! ), steering column, pipes, heater bits etc, so will need to be wrapped/protected well. Bloke's selling complete td5 bulkhead for £150, which is cheap itself but by the time I courier it down or go and collect it will it cost me more than £300 which I could buy one for locally?
