rtbarton
Can anyone tell me how many RH and how many LH track rod ends I need to buy to replace them all on a S3? Arm from box to relay - 1 of each Arm from relay to swivel - 1 of each Arm from swivel to swivel - 1 of each There are two patterns though, one threaded right up to the round cast bit and one that is threaded just short. The rods for the 1st type are threaded to the end, for the 2nd type the thread stops just short of the end.

Snagger
Three of each (one of each for the track rod, the drag link and longitudinal link). The trick is to make sure the threads are right - most had Imperial threads, but the very late SIIIs have metric.

TRE's are usually supplied with nuts anyway.
Phil Hancock
The TRE to rod thread is the same 11/16"UNS thread on all series rods but with the variation in thread length dependant on age and obviously LH & RH threads.
