WilliamArmstrong
Hey i lost my keys and i don't have extras and i got the car after the driving column has been replaced so it would cost me like 650 to get it running again, or i could just make it push button, So i'm going push button, but i need an electrical diagram for the ignition, so i know where to splice in my buttons and toggle switches, if anyone has a work manual, and is willing to share that page it would be great. It's a 98 disco.
western
a new steering column lock/start switch with 2 keys shouldn't cost 650 quid & you could fit it yourself to save even more pounds.
steve_d
You don't say in your profile where you are. In the UK and particularly down south you could get a second hand column for no a lot. Steve

Steve unfortunately i'm in america and here everything costs me an arm and a leg. I have really enjoyed my car, infact i've been pouring money into it for the past few months to get it into better condition then when it started, unfortunately those were the options i've gotten. Paul Humphreys
Get a lock smith to make a new key, they can make them to work without having an old key to work from. Or go to a LR dealers with the VIN number and get them to cut one. If it is still fitted with the orignal locks it will work ok.
