Ibex94 Posted December 30, 2008 Posted December 30, 2008 Am in process of checking over the steering box for my truck before fitting it. There is a small amount of backlash in the input shaft, how much backlash should I expect, what is acceptable and can it be adjusted out? You help and advice gratefully awaited. Ta Rob Quote
western Posted December 31, 2008 Posted December 31, 2008 large nut with a allen bolt in the centre is the normal backlash adjustment point, minimal play would be OK. Quote
