Fruit_uk
The new racer uses a defender harness that has ABS sensor plugs There is no abs so I have nowhere to plug them into. The ABS light stays on the dash so what do these plugs need? The contacts connecting or a resistance applying across the plug? I would be grateful for any experience of this problem you can share. Cheers
white90
Not so simple: http://www.topbuzz.co.uk/maintenance/testi...testing_abs.htm easier to remove the bulb
western
would it be easier to have the ECU reprogrammed so the ABS is switched off.
Escape
would it be easier to have the ECU reprogrammed so the ABS is switched off. Not sure that would be sufficient... The dashboard lights are actually wired differently depending wether or not ABS is fitted. You can remove the ABS-light, but the problem is the brake light will still stay on. I really should get round to this myself, after 2 years, the little lights are starting to irritate me.
