Posted here (following thread on the RR forum) I've got a problem with an exhaust for a range rover.

Vehicle is an '86 3.5 EFi Classic, zorst is a SSS Stainless system from a J-reg 3.9 Classic. It was going fine until we tried to bolt the X-member back in, then the exhaust was found to be in the way :( - did they change the crossmember shape / position with the later classics?

And do I ring paddocks and order a new crossmember, or a new exhaust?

Fridge - I think I've got the tubular cross-member, although the end mounting plates have been cut down a bit

My microcat shows it as being NTC5031 and you can make out the curved ends to the crossmember. shown as being used on the CSK and 3.9 models.

When i had the 3.9 in my 90, i had the curved end crossmember too. can't remember what i did with the darn thing now!
