kanggwan
Hi there I have just changed my spark plugs and noticed that the plugs I was given are different to those I took out (both sets are champions). the ones I took out are RN11YCC'S and the new one's are RC11PYPB4's (a label stuck on the outside says they correspond to NLP100320's). I noticed that the new ones have a very thin looking central pin. Any advice? Thanks Stewart (PS driving a DII, 2000, 3.9)
BogMonster
The ones you were given are correct for the 4.0 engine in the Discovery 2, RN11YCC are fitted to earlier 3.9 engines so somebody put the wrong plugs in at some stage in the past - perhaps deliberately due to the cost difference! I don't know if it really matters but the poofy platinum ones are the ones it should have.
teabag
It's a UK site but it gives a lot of info on plugs. http://www.sparkplugs.co.uk/
