bobtail84
The wife's cousin has a 01 3 door petrol freebie and it's ticking at the top end, using oil and water. This is as she described it over the phone to me and I'm going to have a look in the morning. I don't think it's a V6 so I'm assuming it's an 1800 but I don't know much about freebies. Any thought's or advice and thing's to look out for would be appreciated. Jeff

Jon White
If its a V6 scrap it - they aint fixable! Jon
FridgeFreezer
If it's a 1.8 and hasn't been boiled yet then catch it quick, do the proper head gasket fix and fit the stat relocation kit if it hasn't already got it and keep your fingers crossed. Apparently if you boil them the heads go soft and you'll never make it last even with the uprated gasket. For good advice and things like heads, check www.dvapower.com.
