ThreeSheds
I have a very nice old automatic 22mm pipe cutting tool - the kind you just slip on and rotate, looks like this and I have been looking for a while now for the equivalent tool for use on brake pipes on the car, but with no luck. Can anyone point me to a source please, or is brake pipe just too small to work with this kind of cutter??
ChrisM_110
Frosts do a cheap one, I just got a small one from Screwfix as part of a big order, it's a bit fiddly but works fine.

Thanks for the suggestions... Got one of them - in fact I have had two and neither cutting disc was/is coaxial with it's pivot.. Now that looks interesting, but it is quoted as cutting 6-23mm so is a little large. I wonder if they can be persuaded to make a smaller version? disco tony
I have never seen an automatic cutter any size except 15mm or 22mm. Get a reasonable quality adjustable. I recently re-newed my rear brake pipes and used a very old adjustable but with complete success.
