bowler wildcat

Recommended Posts

Without getting overly anal a Wildcat 100 has coilover suspension, the rest being fairly standard LR type gear. A Wildcat 200 has coilovers, Disco 2 axles, a Bowler designed Watts linkage and custom radius/trailing arms. All these are designed to work with mounts on the Bowler 'space' frame so will be of little use on anything else. The spring rates and shock settings will vary with the intended use and again be of no use on anything else. Numerous makes of shocks have been used. Some transitional cars had bits of both, some were kits etc. etc.

Or I may be missing the point of your question.

Steve - yes you are missing something, it's a Scrapiron style bolt-on 3 link kit sold by QT.

Personally I'd look at what can be done by choosing the right bits and thinking about what you need it to do, for example Nige's 90 which has no "kit", no major mods, sits at standard height, but flexes like crazy.
