There are certain situations especially in some types of snow and sometime mud where TC is detrimental and you need wheelspin to get through. Yes. And when driving hard on the snow or on the gravel, the car just won´t stop with ABS, because it doesn´t build bank of snow/gravel/sand in front of the braking tyre. That´s one reason why ABS is disconnected on rally/racing cars. If you use ABS, then in certain circumstances the braking distance will multiply...
