minivin
Lost the flyer of the people who make the alloy gear knobs, trying to decide whether to fit a genuine plastic knob, or go for an alloy one

minivin
cheers both, looks like Croytec is possibly the cheapest of the two, may give them a shout tomorrow (need a fog switch as well anyway so that would be two jobs in one hit)
landrover598
I was advised against getting an alloy knob as the lettering rubs off them in a few months and they are very cold in winter

GBMUD
I have a chromium plated fully illuminated shift knob... shame it is for an R380 and not an LT77. Chris

minivin
sounds chavvy, i take it its engraved with shift positions on it? yeah, brings a new meaning to polishing your knob
GBMUD
The shift positions are cut (cast?) right through with blue (I presume) LEDs behind and a trembler switch to turn it on when the engine runs and the knob vibrates. It was given to me used and I have not found new batteries yet so no pictures, confirmation that it is blue. Perhaps if the parcels I am waiting for turn up I will make the effort to go and buy some batteries for it and give it a trial run.
